Education and public awareness - Understanding life to better protect it

Naturospace is much more than a place to visit: it's a space for discovery, transmission and awakening to biodiversity. By plunging visitors into the heart of a living tropical ecosystem, it offers an educational approach based on direct observation, emotion and sensory experience.
Each tour thus becomes a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature and better understand the issues involved in preserving it.

Knowledge is the first step to protection

Understanding living things is an essential prerequisite for preserving them. At Naturospace, this conviction guides the entire visit. There's no substitute for real contact with nature: seeing a butterfly emerge from its chrysalis, observing the interactions between plants, insects and birds, feeling the atmosphere of an equatorial forest.
This immersion enables visitors to tackle key themes such as tropical biodiversity, the ecological role of species, natural balances and the importance of equatorial forests for the global climate.

A living immersion in tropical biodiversity

A tropical garden in Normandy, the Naturospace greenhouse precisely recreates the conditions of an equatorial biome: heat, humidity, light and plant diversity are carefully controlled. Multicolored butterflies, tropical birds and exuberant plants cohabit in the same space, offering a lively and concrete interpretation of tropical ecosystems.

This proximity to the living world fosters an intuitive understanding of the interdependence of species, adaptation and the fragility of natural environments. Observation thus becomes an act of learning in its own right.

Observe, discover, learn

In particular, the tour allows you to observe :

the complete life cycle of tropical butterflies, from egg to imago,

the close relationship between host plants and caterpillars,

the role of tropical insects and birds in forest ecosystems,

the importance of tropical forests in the global ecological balance.

A fun and instructive visit

The tour begins with a short educational film on the metamorphosis of butterflies, providing an initial visual and scientific immersion. The tour then continues in the greenhouse, accompanied by bilingual educational panels designed for different reading levels.

These materials allow everyone - children and adults alike - to learn at their own pace, combining scientific data, naturalist anecdotes and awareness-raising messages.

Sowing the seeds of environmental awareness

By arousing wonder, Naturospace creates the ideal conditions for awakening sustainable ecological awareness. Each visit invites us to reflect on our relationship with nature, distant ecosystems and the impact of our everyday choices.
Visitors leave with much more than colorful images: a better understanding of living things and the desire, at their own level, to become involved in protecting biodiversity, today and for future generations.
